Coastal Carolina Con V2 Returns to Myrtle Beach This Weekend

Myrtle Beach is hosting a pop culture gathering again this weekend at the Convention Center. Coastal Carolina Con V2 occupies the venue on April 4 and 5, with doors opening at 10 a.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. on Sunday. Both days conclude at 5 p.m. Local shop Wildfire Games is sponsoring the event, helping bring together fans of various genres under one roof. Scheduled activities include Pokémon card tournaments and a cosplay contest, plus appearances from guest stars. The floor will also feature vendors selling comics and video games for attendees to browse. There is plenty to see for those interested in trading cards or meeting creators. Jacob Frym, owner of Wildfire Games, mentioned that the layout caters to all ages. Children have access to a dedicated area with face painting and giveaways, while adult collectors can browse sports cards and other niches. It aims to be a space where everyone can find something matching their interests.
